Four “More Excellent Things”

1 Corinthians 13 shows us the details of the way of love.
Gifts are important in their place, but the way of love is more excellent still—God’s way.
Listening to the voice of Wisdom, with the heart occupied with Him Who has obtained a more excellent Name; the conscience at peace through a more excellent sacrifice; the soul enjoying the fruits of His most excellent ministry and His life the exemplification of the more excellent way;
Gifts are important in their place, but the way of love is more excellent still—God’s way.
