Moses in the backside of the desert.
Ruth gleaning in the field.
Esther standing before the king.
Mephibosheth in Lodebar.
Jonah in the fish’s belly.
Daniel in the lion’s den.
Peter in the prison.
Paul in Arabia.
The Lord on the CROSS.
Us when we realized we were lost.
Us, now, when we realize our nothingness.
But what a changed story each one of these could tell as we enjoy the upper end of the V—
